Avon & Animal Testing

Before becoming an Avon representative I did a ton of research to make sure that it was a company that I would be proud to represent. Easy to find are the facts that Avon does an incredible amount of work around breast cancer and domestic violence. I had to do a little research to find their policy on animal testing and was quite surprised when and did, and even more surprised that it isn’t more advertised by Avon.

In 1989, Avon became the first major cosmetics companies to STOP all animal testing for its products and ingredients. This includes testing done outside the company and in any raw ingredients that are purchased.  They have been featured multiple times as a cruelty free company by PeTA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. This was important to me, and I know it probably is to some of you.  Just another reason to feel good about the next order you place.
